* Nursery Graduation 2014

* Nursery Graduation 2014

Last Friday, we enjoyed one of the highlights in the Nursery Calendar, Graduation Day.
Relatives and friends were invited to join Primary 1 in a special farewell to the nursery children,
who are moving on to their new Primary School.

Head Teacher, Mr Bremner, welcomed everyone to our special occasion
and with a final wave of encouragement...

...it was on with the performance!

Each group had to pick their favourite song and Red Group opened the show with a bang!
Their choice, 'Five Little Seeds', was just fantastic!

Following on, Orange Group delighted the audience with one of nursery's favourites, 'The Shape'!

The entertainment just kept on coming!
Green Group sang their hearts out with 'Five Flying Saucers'!

It was clear that Nursery had worked very hard to achieve such great performances
as Yellow Group took their place to sing their chosen song, 'Five Jellyfish'!

The final act certainly didn't disappoint, with Blue Group rounding off
the fabulous show, with a super song, 'Tiny Caterpillar on a Leaf'!

It was now time for all the children to leave Nursery and prepare for Primary 1!

All the boys and girls looked amazing in their 'Graduation Capes' as each one climbed
the rostrum to receive their very own Scroll from Mr Bremner.

Every child had their photograph taken at this important moment and can be seen by clicking here.
However, in addition to this, we hope you appreciated the personal photogragh
given to each child on Monday for you to keep, as a memento of this special day!

The Ceremony ended with two songs, the first from the nursery children
who sang their own Graduation song, 'One More Step'.....

     ....and the other from Primary 1, who sang 'A Little Bit of Kindness',
to wish them well, as they move on to Primary School.

Once the applause had subsided, Mr Bremner congratulated all the children
for a wonderful Graduation Ceremony. He also invited those parents, whose children
are joining Clober Primary School, to pick up their copy of 'Welcome to Your New School'.

Mr Bremner explained that the CD is compiled to ease any anxieties
the children may have about coming to Clober Primary in August.

Finally, Mr Bremner thanked all his Nursery Staff for their exceptionally hard work over the year
and wished the nursery children all the best for the future!
